WHITE & BLACK IN EON. SON

Happy Spring! At least according to my calendar, today marks the first day of spring! But the weather outsides proves otherwise. We're apparently supposed to get *another* snowstorm here in NYC... I'm so ready for warm weather, please!  😒

Anyway, I digress. Onto my first outfit post on the blog because this is a collab I'm super excited about 😀

I met Yeon, the founder of EON. SON, almost ten years ago in Philly, and through Instagram, we were able to reconnect and now work together on fun projects like this one! Def one of the perks of living in the age of social media :)

I can't say enough good things about this beautiful, off-white ruffled blouse and these black, raw hem jeans. (I promise to have another post focusing on the denim because they are just SO comfy and the perfect length for us 5'2" girls!) The ruffles on the blouse and the raw hem on the jeans are the perfect juxtaposition—not making this out too feminine or girly. 

I paired the look with classic black pumps by Schutz, which I found to be super flattering with the cut of the denim. You see the perfect amount of ankle and the top of your foot that it really elongates your legs, and I could use all the leg-elongating I can get. Ha! (These jeans are actually an ankle crop on the model, but they're pretty much full length on me, but I think I prefer this look 😉)  

We shot this look over the weekend, and let me just say it was freezing. The shots below don't do justice on how cold and windy it was, but damn props to all you fashion bloggers living in the east coast. I don't know how you do this full time. And 2 eprops to my photographer for helping me shoot this :)
